Jump Wing Sponsorships - Monday, 17 March 2008

We are currently searching for sponsors for our show jumping day on the 6th of April.

While we have had a good response from some of the local buisnesses, we are still lacking in sponsorships for jump wings.

If you are or know of anyone who may be interested, I would really encourage you to sponsor this cause as it is not only benificial to us but it is relatively cheap advertising in our local community!

For a pair of core-flute boards, to be put on each jump wing, the initial cost is $90 and then for each competition the sponsor would like to support , it is a meagre $40.

All up, to sponsor our showjumping day and support a good cause, it will cost only $130.

So please, support Moggill Pony Club and get some good advertising on the way!!!

About to the Moggill Pony Club Minimize

Welcome!

Our site aims to provide:

  • general club information,
  • specific event details for our members and
  • Pony Club information for the public at large.

We also plan that it will become an archive of all the Moggill Pony Club history that may go otherwise unregarded across the years.

Moggill Pony Club is open to membership for all ages, provided members have their own horse or lease of a horse. Most of the activities and events run throughout the year are geared towards our younger members.

Visitors (on foot) are welcome - but please leave your dogs at home!

Why Pony Club?

The Moggill Pony Club is set up under the auspices of the Pony Club Association of Queensland, sharing the same mission:

  • to teach our junior members to ride well and enjoy all kinds of sport connected with riding

  • to instil in them the proper care of their animals

  • to offer them the opportunity of being taught a higher standard of riding than they might otherwise achieve.

Pony club strives to make its members enthusiastic riders and have them properly taught the many branches of horsemanship - so that they will be the capable horsemen and women of tomorrow.

About Moggill Pony Club

Our pony club aims to provide a safe environment for our riders all year around, runs club rally days for training (usually ten per year), runs and participates in outside equestrian events. We are funded entirely through our membership and through the hard work of our volunteers, instructors and management committee.

Moggill Pony Club is part of Zone 1 of Pony Club Association of Queensland, through which we train our instructors and judges, participate in specialised training camps and events, such as camp drafting, mounted games and residential camps.

Our membership also includes adult members who wish to use the grounds for riding, socially or competitively.

Because the club is run solely by parents it depends upon active and energetic participation of all families. Their contribution of time to participate working on the grounds or in the canteen forms means that we can keep our fees much lower than they would be otherwise.
